Volunteer in the unexplored natural paradise of Atauro Island in Timor-Leste and contribute to critical marine conservation and community work in the heart of the Coral Triangle.

The waters of Timor-Leste are a biodiversity hotspot and home to the highest diversity of marine life on earth. The area is a global marine conservation priority, yet data on the status of the marine ecosystem is severely lacking. On a Blue Ventures expedition you’ll volunteer alongside our skilled team of field scientists and help collect vital marine data that will widen our understanding of this unique underwater world and help us protect it together with the local communities.

Volunteers are at the heart of everything we do and we’d love to have you join us! For a detailed guide on our Timor-Leste marine conservation expedition, follow the link below.
