Description

Volunteering is an amazing way to learn more about the country you are visiting and the trials its people face. It will challenge your perspectives and test your personal abilities, allowing you to learn an incredible amount about yourself in return. We facilitate customised volunteer projects in the beautiful and dynamic city of Cape Town, South Africa.

Sustainable development requires a partnership and balance between the social and environmental requirements of a community and its need for economic development. Cape Town has a long way to go before reaching its goal of a sustainable future, and it needs your help! We collaborate with numerous NGO’s, cooperate companies and government organisations working towards the creation of an environment where economically marginalised communities can take responsibility for their own wealth whilst taking into consideration the impact this has on the environment. As a volunteer in this field, you could be involved in research, environmental education, creating entrepreneurship opportunities, training and mentorship, hands-on fieldwork, and exploring and promoting ways to achieve a sustainable economy.
