Bright Light Volunteers welcomes participants to meaningful and sustainable volunteering opportunities in Guatemala. We work in the calm and laid-back towns in and around the colonial town of Antigua (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) where participants will gain the experience of a lifetime while working on educational and conservation projects aimed at improving lives.

Bright Light Volunteers is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization designed to empower program participants and community partners through education and service.

Specifically, our programs adhere to global service-learning best practices, which combine community service with both experiential learning in the field and online coursework through our university partner.

Our vision is to make the world a brighter place by creating a more peaceful, just, interconnected world where global challenges and opportunities are met by educated, compassionate, global citizens and leaders.

**Please Note** All BLV programs are designed for groups of at least 10 participants. Groups must be formed prior to scheduling. We do not place individuals.

Must have a group of 10-20. We specialize in school travel studies, but are open to adult groups as well. Through our University partner, Bethel University, we offer a dual-enrollment 3-credit hour course prior to departure.
