Working with youth in Porto will lift your spirits and bring a smile to your face.Lend a hand with local non-profits that provide supplemental educational opportunities to underprivileged kids. Do you play an instrument? A sport? Do you have a gift for languages? Art? Computers? Porto is the second biggest city in Portugal and provides a truly authentic experience of the country. Stroll through its winding, picturesque streets and feel the pulse of the city or take the tram to the mouth of the river Douro and hang out on the excellent beaches and in the abundant the outdoor cafés. The historic center of Porto was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site but it is the hospitality and outgoingl character of the locals that will delight you. Besides its historical outlook, Porto is a vibrant and young city with countless cafés, bars and clubs. Kick back in a relaxed rooftop bar and enjoy the warm Portuguese climate.
