Volunteer abroad in Mexico with IVHQ! Every year, hundreds of volunteers join IVHQ's highly affordable volunteer projects in Mexico assisting on a range of community-driven projects including teaching and animal care. Volunteers can choose to participate on projects for periods ranging from 1 week to 12 weeks and are accommodated in a volunteer house in Merida alongside other international volunteers. While Spanish is not required in order to participate on the program, volunteers can enjoy taking discounted Spanish lessons during their time on the program.

Volunteers pay a registration fee of US$299 which covers 24/7 support from an IVHQ program manager, online volunteer training, a comprehensive program guide, and access to deals on flights and travel insurance.

They then pay a program fee, dependent on the duration of their volunteer program, which covers accommodation and meals during volunteer placement period, airport pick up, orientation, program supervision, In-country 24/7 volunteer support and In-country administration costs. Volunteers are responsible for their own flights, visas, travel insurance and vaccinations (where required).
