Latitude International Education gives opportunity to explorers and students to live in a farm and experience rural life in Canada. This is a unique learning-vacation experience on a family farm in the countryside of Canada. The farmstay vacation program offers individuals to work in a farm in British Columbia, Ontario, or Quebec in exchange for a place to stay.

Minimum farmstay placement is 2 weeks and maximum is 4 weeks with a visitor's visa.

Types of duties a farmstay candidate will have will depend on the farm which they are placed, the month they arrive and any special requests. There are four type of farms where the candidate can be placed:
1. Agriculture - farms where vegetables are grown, and sheep, cows, pigs, and goats are kept.
2. Arts/Crafts/Artisanal Food Processing - Farms that produce small handicrafts or
small quantities of cheese or foods such as jams and spreads.
3. Horticulture - farms where fruit and/or vegetables are grown.
4. Poultry - chicken, duck, turkey, or goose farms.

Duties may include: gardening, harvesting, fruit-picking, caring/feeding animals, cleaning/maintenance. etc.

Candidates for the farmstay program typically include (and it is best suited for):
1.Agriculture students
2.Adventure travelers

The program provides the opportunity to have a ‘natural’ Canadian experience and practice English in a real-life context.
