Latitude International Education gives opportunity to explorers and students to live in a ranch and experience rural life in Canada. This is a unique learning-vacation experience on a family farm in the countryside of Canada. The ranchstay program offers individuals to work in a farm in British Columbia, Ontario, or Quebec in exchange for a place to stay.

Minimum ranchstay placement is 2 weeks and maximum is 4 weeks with a visitor's visa.

Types of duties a candidate will have will depend on the ranch which they are placed, the month they arrive and any special requests. There are four type of ranches where the candidate can be placed:
1. Agriculture - where vegetables are grown, and sheep, cows, pigs, and goats are kept.
2. Arts/Crafts/Artisanal Food Processing - that produce small handicrafts or
small quantities of cheese or foods such as jams and spreads.
3. Horticulture - where fruit and/or vegetables are grown.
4. Poultry - chicken, duck, turkey, or goose ranches.

Duties may include: gardening, harvesting, fruit-picking, caring/feeding animals, cleaning/maintenance. etc.

Candidates for the ranchstay program typically include (and it is best suited for):
1.Agriculture students
2.Adventure travelers
5.Others who want to experience and learn Canadian agriculture

The program provides the opportunity to have a ‘natural’ Canadian experience and practice English in a real-life context.
