Description

Love Volunteers offers volunteering opportunities at an animal sanctuary in Argentina. Founded in 2010, the sanctuary, located in Pilar, about an hour from central Buenos Aires, has grown over the years with the assistance of international volunteers. Today, the sanctuary takes care of about 150 rescued animals, including pigs, goats, rabbits, cows, horses, cats, dogs, ducks, guinea pigs, chickens, and parrots.

The sanctuary's primary mission is to re-home or provide a safe haven for animals that have been rescued from abuse, exploitation, or neglect. Its secondary goal is to change the way people view farm and other domesticated animals, and to promote, educate, and encourage compassionate cruelty-free living.
