Description

The Puranik Foundation is a nonprofit organization headquartered in Houston, Texas, with volunteer and study abroad programs based in Samarthgad Foundation, a 27-acre off-grid located in Pune, India. The foundation funds the Vision International Learning Center, a residential school for underprivileged children.

Study abroad opportunities are organized for high school students, college students, and teachers to take their education outdoors and immerse in India's rich culture and heritage as a local and brings exposure to our existing students on campus.

At the Puranik Foundation, we believe in providing educational opportunities, to open minds, nurture the environment, and empower the spirit.

Impact India provides high school students the opportunity to make a difference in a small village in Pune, India. The program encompasses a year of India's festivities and culture in seven days. Participants go through a process of self discovery, through daily yoga and reflection series conducted by a certified life coach. Students experience off-grid living, spread over 24 acres.
