Jamaicans are passionate about sports. Many athletes have used this as a means of getting out of poverty. Sports is one of the main driving force of Jamaica as it helps with employment, provides international recognition for a small island, and fosters unity and collaboration.

The sports program of RSVP Caribbean Volunteers is different as it is fueled by a desire to help to change the circumstances of children and young adults. Volunteers who have an interest in sports, coaching, and mentoring, are suited for this project. The program is also open to those who are studying or have to experience in sports, sports psychology, mentoring, coaching, and any specialization in football (soccer), cricket, basketball, or netball.

Volunteers will be making a major contribution to sports development in Jamaica and helping to nurture talents who can one day be a force to be reckoned with.
