V2 Volunteer & Vacation has developed partnerships with organizations in Jamaica who need helping hands in carrying out their duties. It is a great opportunity to learn, practice, put your theoretical knowledge to the test, and take the time out not only to change the world but to change the world of vulnerable animals. Animals across the country are either on the verge of facing the worst of their lives. Inadequate food and health care leave cats and dogs helpless in poverty-stricken areas

Aim of Project :
-Providing the love, care, and patience necessary in collaboration with on-site shelter teams.
-Provide support in medical assistance to injured animals, rescuing, and reuniting pets with their owners.
-Providing long-term protection through outreach programs in support of local owners.

This project welcomes volunteers who are extremely passionate about supporting animal rights and don’t mind getting their hands dirty. Your duties will vary according to your level of education and experience, all participants will get hands-on experience and work closely with a resident vet. The project typically takes place in the morning, from 8am until noon and you will be welcome to cont

For our veterinary medicine programme, we ask that volunteers have completed at least one year of relevant university study.
